Live empty legs to and from Las Vegas’s three business-aviation airports: Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas. Search your dates, or request a confirmed quote.

Set an alert and we’ll email you the moment one appears. Around 95% of legs don’t match a first search — they come and go daily, so watching a route is how most people actually fly one.
Flying both ways? Book any leg and we’ll find or pair your return — plus transfers, catering, pets in the cabin and the full itinerary, handled end to end.
Most legs into the valley are repositioning flights from Southern California, Texas and Arizona.
An empty leg is a private jet flying without passengers, usually to get home or to its next booking. Because the operator is flying anyway, the aircraft is offered for up to 75% less than chartering it in the usual way. Whether you call it private jet hire, private jet rental or charter, the board above shows every live leg touching the valley’s three business-aviation airports. On an empty leg the route and the time are fixed, and the lower price is your reward for fitting around them.
Harry Reid International is the closest to the Strip and the only one of the three with customs. Henderson Executive, south of the city, is the dedicated business-aviation field. North Las Vegas is the small field north-west of downtown, best for light jets and turboprops. Where your empty leg lands is set by the operator, so it helps to know what each one offers.
Distances are straight-line from the city, as published in airport directories, not road distances. Drive times to the Strip are for normal traffic, not race-week closures, and your FBO can arrange a car to meet the aircraft.

About 5 miles south of the city, Harry Reid sits at the southern end of the Strip, roughly 15 minutes away by car. Its longest runway is over 14,000 ft, long enough for any business jet in summer heat. Private passengers use one of two FBOs, Atlantic Aviation or Signature, never the airline terminals. An FBO (fixed-base operator) is the private terminal where you check in, meet your car and walk straight to the aircraft; what happens at an FBO walks through the day.
International arrivals clear customs here, and US Customs and Border Protection has a dedicated general-aviation ramp on the west side of the airport. The pilot must get permission to land at least two hours before arrival, by phone, before leaving the foreign airport (CBP Harry Reid fact sheet). Inspection times and any extra airport reservations are set locally and can change, so ask your operator to confirm them for your date.
About 11 miles south of the city, roughly 20 minutes to the Strip by car. Henderson has two runways, the longer 6,501 ft, and one FBO run by the airport itself. It is quieter than Harry Reid, with no airline traffic, and suits light and midsize jets. There is no customs, so flights here are domestic.
About 3 miles north-west of downtown, with three runways, the longest 5,005 ft. That suits turboprops and light jets rather than large cabins; the operator confirms whether a given aircraft can use it, especially on a hot afternoon. There is one airport-run FBO and no customs. It is handy for downtown, Summerlin and the north-west of the valley.
With an empty leg, the one the operator has listed. When you are comparing two legs, or pricing a full charter, a few rules of thumb help.
The busiest feeder into the valley is Southern California. It is about an hour in the air from Van Nuys, the main private jet airport for Los Angeles, and that short hop is where many Las Vegas legs come from: aircraft based on the coast fly passengers in and fly home empty, or the reverse. Light jets and turboprops do the trip easily. For the airports at the other end, see private jet hire Los Angeles.
Las Vegas also connects to Texas and Arizona. Dallas private jet hire covers Love Field and Addison, a route people search for by name, and private jets out of Scottsdale cover the shortest hop from Phoenix.
Most Las Vegas legs are repositioning flights: an aircraft that dropped passengers in the valley flying home or on to its next job. The destinations change from day to day, and the best way to read them is the board itself. The mix of aircraft shifts too, with light jets and turboprops on short western hops and larger aircraft on long routes.
Searching for something different? Our guide to empty leg flights in the USA explains where legs tend to appear across the country.
Empty legs are priced for the whole aircraft, not per seat. Share it with the people you are flying with and the cost per person falls with every seat you fill. The listed price is set by the operator and moves as the departure date gets closer, and every price on the board follows the currency picker, so you can compare in dollars, pounds or euros.
A full charter costs more because you pay for the aircraft to reach you as well as for your flight. That is the gap an empty leg closes, and why it can cost up to 75% less. For hourly rates by aircraft class, see private jet rental prices by class and our guide to empty leg flight cost for what legs typically sell for and how much you actually save.
Prices peak in event weeks, which is covered in private jet prices in event weeks. If there is no leg on your dates, the “Didn’t find your leg?” tool below prices a full charter on your route in seconds, so you can compare the two.
Las Vegas runs on conventions, fights and races, and each one pulls aircraft into the valley in a single wave. Ramp space runs out, so jets drop their passengers and leave empty, then come back empty to collect them. Both trips can show up on the board.
Most legs are listed days rather than weeks ahead, and Las Vegas is a small board outside event weeks, so the people who get them are usually the ones with an alert set. Our guide on how to find empty legs explains why a route alert beats checking the board each morning. Once someone enquires, an empty leg is usually decided within a day or two, sometimes the same day.
Plans can change at short notice, whether through weather or an operator’s own schedule. It is worth reading what happens if an empty leg is cancelled or delayed before you plan around one.
The full walk-through is in booking an empty leg, step by step.
